Cherry Picker Operator Express Skilled Trades - Kansas City Kansas City, MO Job Details $19 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Lift truck Cherry picker Warehouse experience Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Cherry Picker Operator We are actively seeking experienced Cherry Picker Operators to fill multiple openings in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented, with proven experience operating cherry pickers/order pickers. This position requires the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Shifts:

1st Shift (Sunday- Tuesday) 5am-530pm 1st Shift (Wednesday- Friday) 5am-530pm 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday) 6pm-430am Key Responsibilities Safely operate a cherry picker/order picker to pick, retrieve, and store inventory at various warehouse locations and rack heights. Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to locate, scan, and track inventory. Retrieve materials and products from elevated storage locations. Stage, organize, pack, label, and prepare orders as required. Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. Perform inventory replenishment and stock rotation as needed. Maintain accuracy when selecting products and completing orders. Inspect equipment before and after use and report any safety or maintenance concerns. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience. Minimum of 1 year of recent cherry picker/order picker operating experience. Experience working in high-rack warehouse environments preferred. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity expectations. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift. Comfortable working at elevated heights. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings.
