Lee's Summit, MO Midwest Distribution is a growing snack food distributor based in Lee's Summit, MO. We are adding new members to our team and are seeking reliable Warehouse Associates to support our daily operations in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you may be assigned to picking, packing, or stocking duties depending on business needs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be familiar with general warehousing, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes. Associates must be able to work quickly and accurately under time constraints while maintaining a positive attitude. Our warehouse is climate controlled, providing a comfortable work environment year-round.Key Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment using RF scanners, computers, or tablets Accurately pick and pack products to ensure order accuracy and product quality Verify product accuracy, expiration dates, and packaging integrity to ensure food safety and quality Stock and organize shelves while maintaining FIFO rotation and product quality standards Move and position pallets using pallet jacks Maintain adequate packing supplies and materials Break down and dispose of cardboard, plastic wrap, and other packaging materials Remove empty pallets from work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean and organizedQualifications:
Warehouse experience (1+ years) Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Pallet jack experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Basic computer and tablet proficiency Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Health insuranceWork Remotely No Job Type:
