Overview Join our dynamic team as a General Labor Water Restoration Technician and become a vital part of restoring homes and businesses affected by water, fire, mold, and other environmental damages. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work hands-on in fast-paced situations, helping clients recover from unexpected disasters with professionalism and care. You'll be on the front lines of emergency response, utilizing your skills to perform cleaning, restoration, and remediation tasks that make a real difference in people's lives. No two days are alike—each project brings new challenges and opportunities to showcase your dedication and expertise. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, flood, fire, or mold-related incidents, demonstrating readiness for on-call coverage. Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection. Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols. Utilize hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration industry tools effectively to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Assist with construction-related activities such as demolition, debris removal, or minor repairs during restoration projects. Follow strict safety procedures during all operations to ensure personal safety and that of team members; maintain compliance with OSHA standards. Communicate professionally with clients and team members to ensure clear understanding of project scope and progress throughout each job. Skills Demonstrated emergency response readiness with the ability to act swiftly in high-pressure situations. Experience in cleaning, fire restoration, flood restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of restoration industry standards such as Xactimate estimating software is a plus. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while following safety protocols. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in water and fire damage repair projects. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations. Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use and respiratory protection at all times during hazardous work environments.
