About Oscar Wilson Engines and Parts:
Oscar Wilson is a family owned distributor of outdoor power equipment and repair parts, operating since 1955. We serve end consumers, small businesses and retailers across the United States. We have opportunities available in our order fulfillment center located in O'Fallon, MO. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM with overtime opportunities available at supervisor's approval. Speed, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to our success.
We are looking for:
Shipping Specialist (Temporary Position) Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shipping Specialist to join our warehouse team on a temporary basis. This position is responsible for loading outbound shipments onto trucks, ensuring packages are handled safely and efficiently, and supporting the shipping operation to meet daily delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities Load completed customer orders and packages onto delivery trucks in an organized and secure manner. Verify shipment quantities and package integrity prior to loading. Work closely with warehouse team members to ensure all orders are shipped accurately and on schedule. Move, stack, and position packages throughout the warehouse and loading areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies. Assist with additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 100 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Previous warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience is preferred but not required. Work Environment Warehouse setting with regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy packages. Frequent loading and unloading of trucks. Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season and warehouse conditions. Employment Type Temporary / Seasonal Position Schedule Hours and schedule to be determined based on business needs.
