Job Description
Material Handler C - 2nd Shift Briggs & Stratton, LLC. United States, Missouri, Poplar Bluff 731 Highway 142 (Show on map) Aug 31, 2026 Position Description Handles incoming and outgoing materials to support production requirements. Job Responsibilities
Resolves exceptions to incoming materials processing
Processes customer returns in business related software and work with other departments to resolve
Monitors production and insure sufficient inventory is on-hand and available as needed
Works with various departments to fulfill customer needs including maintaining customer orders and expediting incoming orders
Responsible for the coordination of, and accuracy of cycle counting
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
Ability to safely and efficiently operator forklift
Computer skills including; Excel and SAP
Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma
General Education Degree
Experience Requirements
Previous material handling experience preferred
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
