US Farathane has been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE's and TPO's as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Put away finished product correctly
- Perform all Housekeeping duties in conformance to the Housekeeping Verification
- Keep presses stocked with totes and skids
- Keep returnable storage area stocked
- Keep front wall, front aisle, and back aisle clear at all times
- Remove all stock, packaging, and assembly equipment from the press at the time of all mold changes
- Keep returnable lids picked up
- Follow and enforce safety standards for the operation of the forklift truck
- Any other duties as assigned by Plant Supervision Additional Information Help for Additional Information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hi-lo experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to recognize numbers and not transpose digits.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
