Job Title:
Warehouse Worker Job Description This role focuses on supporting a highly automated \operation by performing a wide range of warehouse activities, with a strong emphasis on safe and efficient forklift operation. You will handle heavy palletized loads, support production on the line by keeping it stocked, and contribute to accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving processes while working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities + Operate large sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently, regularly moving two pallets at a time using four forks and handling extremely heavy loads. + Support the line by performing general warehousing tasks, including prepping pallets, staging materials, and ensuring smooth material flow to production. + Perform material handling activities such as loading, unloading, moving, and organizing products and raw materials throughout the warehouse. + Conduct quality checks on products and materials to ensure items meet established standards before they are shipped or moved into inventory. + Carry out shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, checking documentation, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. + Pick and pack orders using RF scanners or RF scan guns, following instructions and maintaining accuracy in item selection and quantities. + Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move goods safely and efficiently around the facility. + Perform data entry and basic computer operations to update inventory records, track product movement, and support production and warehouse documentation. + Maintain accurate warehouse inventory by scanning, counting, and recording product locations and quantities. + Work both as part of a team and independently to meet production and warehouse goals, communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors. + Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating forklifts and other equipment, and help keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. + Adapt to a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, ensuring reliable attendance for assigned night shifts.
