The Warehouse Associate performs receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing and shipping activities. Also responsible for counter sales, housekeeping and related quality assurance activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all iing shipments.
- Perform verification of purchased products and enter order receipts into WESCOsputer system.
- Perform quality assurance inspections when appropriate.
- Place received material, after segregating backorders, into proper warehouse storage locations.
Racks and or bins.
- Assist in loading the trucks.
- Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area.
- Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves and tables as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
High School Degree or Equivalent
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
1. Basicputer skills
2. Reach truck operator
3. Order picker operator
4. Sit down lift operator
5. RF scanner
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Warehouse - Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees required to ware steel toe shoes and safety vest. Strict safety regulations may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is physically strenuous and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Employee required to use hand tools.
Shift- Monday-Friday
7:30am til 4:00pm or until finished. Some weekend when required.
Pay Details:
$18.00 per hour
