Key Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation:
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Receiving:
Unload and inspect incoming materials: verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips: document and store inventory appropriately.
Kitting:
Assemble kits of parts and materials for manufacturing orders per bill of materials and production schedules.
Picking & Issuing:
Accurately pick components and issue parts to the manufacturing floor using ERP or inventory management systems.
Packaging & Shipping:
Properly package products and components for internal use or outbound shipments following company and customer requirements.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records: perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as needed.
ITAR Compliance:
Handle and store ITAR controlled materials in compliance with all applicable regulations: ensure secure and traceable movement of controlled items.
Documentation:
Complete all required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately and timely.
Safety & Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Qualification:
High School diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in an aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environment. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one (company may provide training). Familiarity with ERP Systems and inventory tracking tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.). Understanding of ITAR and related security requirements is strongly preferred. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand /walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills. Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations (U.S citizen or permanent resident). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in an
ISO9001/AS9100
certified environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Familiarity with export compliance, DFARS materials, and controlled goods handling.
