Full Job Description Job Summary:
The warehouse associate is responsible for assisting with and monitoring the day-to-day activities of the warehouse associates involved in fulfillment activities. This role is a hands on "working supervisory" role and as such the supervisor will also be required in all aspects of daily fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
Monitor associates to ensure picking procedures are being followed per the company's guidelines. Coordinate with the packing teams to pre-emptively address issues that could result in a packing bottleneck. Routinely monitor ShipHero to ensure orders are moving through the system in an efficient manner. Identify all order processing discrepancies in ShipHero and escalate to Operations Manager. Pick orders using ShipHero packing application. Track and record inventory required for order processing (boxes, tape, packing peanuts, etc.) Perform intra-warehouse inventory transfers using ShipHero. Assist in completion and assign EOD housekeeping tasks to associates. Generate and enter weekly cycle counts into ShipHero inventory tracking system. Escalate inventory discrepancies above $25 to Operations Manager. Assist in packing orders as needed. Operate a forklift to facilitate movement of inventory within warehouse. Unload trucks. Perform initial purchase order receipt transactions in ShipHero. Routinely monitor picking locations to ensure inventory is stocked based on FIFO. Serve as an initial point of contact for associate conflict resolution. Report any behavior or activity that falls outside of the company specified processes to Operations Manager.
