Job Description

Coated Metals Group Job Summary:
Coated Metals Group (CMG), an employee-owned company (ESOP) and a leader in architectural sheet metal products, is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse & Delivery Associate for our Belgrade, MT, facility. In this role, you will be a key part of our operations by efficiently handling materials, loading and unloading customer orders, and driving a company delivery vehicle to ensure timely distribution to customers. If you're skilled with forklifts, familiar with warehouse management systems, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, this role is a perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to move and organize raw materials and finished goods, including steel, coil, and sheet products (up to 5,000lbs). Safely load and unload delivery vehicles with accurate product to fulfill customer orders. Drive a delivery truck to transport products to customer locations within the assigned region. Collaborate with the warehouse and sales teams to fulfill and manage inventory orders efficiently. Ensure all vehicle loads comply with MDOT regulations and safety standards, including weight restrictions. Perform basic inventory calculations to maintain accurate stock levels. Provide support for warehouse equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service throughout. Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Reliability:
Punctuality, responsibility, and commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential.
Driving:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required (background checks will be conducted).
Forklift Experience:
Proficiency in handling sit-down forklifts and related warehouse equipment.
Delivery Experience:
Proven experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of local routes and best practices.
Safety-Conscious:
Familiarity with safety guidelines for warehouse operations and delivery driving.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to pick, pack, and prepare orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic Math:
Competent in basic math to help maintain inventory and process orders.
Team Player:
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Mechanically Inclined:
Experience with basic equipment repair is a plus.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
