Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shift Start- Report to the production floor by 6:00 AM/PM after following the sanitation and PPE procedures.
- Inspect forklift and sign off on the Forklift Inspection Log.
- Assist the off going Material Handler with any pallets or raw materials.
- Get the list of needed materials from the lead operator from each phase by 6:30 AM/PM. Have enough materials on each line to last at least 12 hours. During Shift
- Follow sanitation and PPE procedure throughout the day.
- Bring any additional materials to the lines as needed. o Follow all SQF procedures for bringing materials (pallets and slats) in the plant. o Use Scan guns to track movement of material.
- Report breaks to Lead Operators and Supervisor.
- Inspect all pallets from production to verify the packaging is correct and labels match. Report any issues to the Lead Operators or Supervisor.
- Keep the pallet yard clean and organized.
- Keep the warehouses swept and clean.
- Keep stretch wrappers clean and free of trash. End of Shift
- Ensure work area is clean and ready for the oncoming Material Handler.
- Communicate with the oncoming Material Handler and discuss any issues of the day.
