Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist in the efficient operation of the Distribution Center by aiding their manager in following the Technimark policies and procedures while meeting the standards set forth by our customers and vendors. Support manufacturing by assisting with the movement of finished goods between the production floor and the warehouse. Knowledge | Experience |
Skills:
High school diploma or GED. Experience with warehouse, shipping, and receiving, Loading and unloading trucks. Good communication and Interpersonal Skills. Basic Computer experience. Must have minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Follow safety regulations by completing and documenting the daily forklift inspections, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and performing all duties safely around fellow employees and yourself.
  • Maintains the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
  • Transports finished goods from the DC conveyor to warehouse locations and scans (bar-code scanner) product into correct location.
  • Store product in appropriate sections of warehouse as directed, allowing ease of use for FIFO system.
  • Participate in loading and unloading of finished goods into the warehouse. This includes scanning (bar-code) product to/from Trailer locations as needed.
  • Pull product from DC locations based on FIFO lists provided from IQ and ship orders accurately. This includes verifying lot information, part # and quantities against pick ticket information.
  • Verify that all packaging/pallets related to product being shipped is free of damage. Any damaged product must be quarantined and DC Supervisor/Manager alerted to have product tagged as non-conforming.
  • Complete trailer inspections prior to loading trailer for outgoing shipments. Have any "failed" trailers logged into the system and communicated to DC Manager.
  • Assists with physical inventory on scheduled frequencies.
