Job Description
Material Handler About the Role We are hiring Temporary Production/Material Handlers to support daily operations in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position focused on preparing, organizing, and staging materials and containers for production. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced plant environment. Key Responsibilities Level and rake preforms in open bins to ensure materials are properly positioned Place lids on bins as required Insert bags into bins based on product requirements Build and stage Gaylord boxes for production Strap and secure Gaylord boxes Build and assemble bins as needed Move and stage materials to designated areas Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines Perform other general production and material handling duties as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred but not required Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks Strong attention to detail Reliable and dependable attendance Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Safety-conscious approach to all tasks Willingness to work a 12-hour shift Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements Ability to lift and move materials as required Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and production materials Ability to maintain productivity throughout a 12-hour shift Must be comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment Must follow all required PPE and safety requirements IND2
