Job Summary Green New Energy Materials (GNEM) is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse and materials operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and moving materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient production and logistics activities. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, accuracy, organization, and reliable execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, order pickers, and other material handling equipment to safely load, unload, store, and transport materials. Receive, inspect, identify, and properly store incoming raw materials, production supplies, finished products, and other warehouse materials. Maintain accurate inventory records through stock counts, cycle counts, RF scanners, and warehouse management or inventory management systems. Pick, pack, stage, and move materials and products according to production, shipping, and distribution requirements. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying quantities and documentation, inspecting materials for damage or discrepancies, and accurately recording transactions. Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed and warehouse activities support manufacturing operations. Maintain organized storage locations and ensure materials are properly labeled, identified, and stored. Follow established procedures for material handling, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse documentation. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment in accordance with OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and PPE requirements. Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and safety concerns promptly. Assist with training new warehouse team members on equipment operation, material handling procedures, safety practices, and inventory processes. Support continuous improvement efforts to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, material flow, and overall operational performance. Requirements Previous experience in warehouse, materials handling, logistics, or manufacturing operations. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, order pickers, or similar equipment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, RF scanners, and electronic inventory records. Ability to accurately count, identify, record, and track materials and inventory. Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting, carrying, standing, walking, and moving materials as required. Knowledge of warehouse safety practices, OSHA standards, and proper PPE use. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity. Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with Production, Logistics, Quality, and other internal teams. Forklift or other applicable material handling equipment certification is preferred. Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements consistently.
