Coast Personnel is hiring dependable and motivated Warehouse Associates for a fast-paced warehouse and production environment in Durham, NC. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, material handling, production, and staying active throughout the workday. Warehouse Associates will be responsible for moving and organizing materials, supporting production operations, handling finished products, maintaining inventory flow, and helping ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful, but motivated candidates looking for a long-term opportunity are encouraged to apply.

MANDATORY OVERTIME IS A REQUIREMENT OF THIS POSITION.

Candidates must be willing and able to work their full scheduled shift, including required overtime and possible weekend work based on production needs. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to the required schedule and overtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Warehouse Associate, you will support both warehouse and production operations by ensuring materials and products move safely and efficiently throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include:

Receive, move, stage, organize, and distribute materials throughout the facility. Load and unload materials, products, and containers as assigned. Supply production areas with the materials needed to maintain continuous operations. Remove finished products and materials from production areas and move them to designated locations. Assist with assembly, production, packaging, sorting, and other manufacturing tasks as assigned. Operate warehouse and production equipment safely and according to established procedures. Perform material handling tasks using proper lifting and handling techniques. Inspect materials and products for visible damage or quality concerns. Maintain accurate organization and flow of materials throughout assigned work areas. Follow production schedules and work instructions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Report equipment issues, damaged materials, safety concerns, or production problems to a supervisor. Work as part of a team to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualified candidates must: Be 18 years of age or older. Be available to work Monday-Friday, with possible weekends as needed. Be willing and able to work required overtime based on production needs. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. Be able to bend, twist, crouch, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Be able to perform repetitive manual tasks involving the hands, fingers, and arms. Be willing to successfully complete a background check and drug screen. Be able to follow safety procedures and standardized work instructions. Be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, material handling, production, or forklift operation is a plus but not required.
