Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auction Inventory Handler & Processor, where you'll play a vital role in managing and organizing auction inventory within our warehouse facility and at customer locations. Duties Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory. Pick, prepare and photograph items for auction, pull customer pick-up tickets and prepare items for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and proper handling techniques. Organize inventory within the warehouse and client locations for easy access, tracking, and efficient space utilization. Follow OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Experience Estate sale enthusiasts, thrifters, pickers and re-sellers will find a familiar workflow here. Previous warehouse experience with a focus on inventory management / handling with an aptitude for taking good pictures is highly preferred. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order picking, load & unload operations, and shipping & receiving procedures. Familiarity with identifying and describing the wide variety of items typically found at estate sales and basic math skills for inventory counting, online listing preparation and data entry. Experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership roles is a plus but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy to moderate lifting and manual handling on a regular basis. We do 1099 / independent contractor pay that starts at $15 per hour. A recognized ability to contribute to getting the auctions prepared in a timely manner will result in increased pay and success of the company. Typical daytime hours with some flexibility if you are looking only for part time. Although we stay on task and do work here, it is quite a laid back environment. Due to the regulatory nature of auctioneering and required licensing clean criminal backgrounds are required.
