Job Description Warehouse Associate Kernersville, NC Pay:
$17
Shift:
3rd (it does require training on 2nd shift for 2 weeks before transitioning to 3rd) Graham Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection:
Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Inspect received items for damages and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
Stock Management:
Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient and accessible manner. Rotate stock to ensure the oldest products are used first (first in, first out - FIFO). Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Order Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick items from shelves based on order requirements. Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring items are properly secured for transit. Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
Shipping and Receiving:
Prepare shipping documents and arrange for transportation as needed. Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outgoing shipments.
Quality Control:
Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards. Report and quarantine defective products.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the warehouse. Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Updated resume. Proven experience as a warehouse associate or similar role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management. Able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
Working Conditions:
The job may require extended periods of standing, lifting, and repetitive movements. Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. LIND26
