This role involves operating heavy equipment, managing warehouse distribution tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, order picking, and materials handling, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Duties Operate forklifts to move materials in the warehouse Pick and prepare orders using warehouse management systems for accurate shipping and receiving Unload containers of material Load and unload delivery trucks, handling materials safely Help with order picking, inventory management, and preparing materials for shipment Inspect equipment for safety issues per OSHA standards and report problems immediately Drive delivery vehicles to transport goods safely Keep accurate records of shipments and deliveries following company policies and safety rules Help with daily warehouse operations, materials handling, and equipment maintenance Skills Experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery in warehouses or construction sites Knowledge of warehouse distribution, shipping/receiving, and order picking Familiarity with warehouse management systems Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining heavy equipment Understanding of OSHA safety standards for warehouses and heavy equipment Ability to safely lift heavy items for extended periods Valid driver's license and good driving skills for delivery routes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accuracy and safety

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
