Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Opens containers, using steel cutters, crowbar, clawhammer, or other hand tools. Loads unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Loads materials into vehicles installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on Items. Load and Unload Trucks by hand or utilizing a dolly or hand Truck. Lift, Push and Pull Items as needed Must learn how to read a SPEC sheet Any other duties assigned by a member of the Management Team.
Competencies Required:
Attention to detail, safety awareness, fast paced environment, safely move product without damaging, alert leadership when problems arise, must be willing to cross train. Qualification requirements Basic knowledge of AS400 Experience with Microsoft office (Word and Excel) Experience with frame assembly preferred Experience in data analysis, reporting and inventory control Basic knowledge of machinery Experience with daily trailer scheduling Experience in resource planning Physical demands and abilities Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching Able to lift 50 pounds, occasionally Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
