Job Description
As a Material Handler - Chainsaw , you will be responsible for cutting, handling, moving, and storing various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse and yard facility. The main duties will include, but are not limited to, cutting materials to specific dimensions, picking and packing materials, loading and unloading transport items, recording inventory statuses, and ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders. You will maintain a current forklift certification and follow all company safety guidelines. This position requires patience and steadiness, along with a teamwork mentality. Duties/Responsibilities Cut product to specified dimensions for shipping Verify the accuracy of the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing deliveries Label/Scan every product and put it away accordingly Identify, pull, and wrap the correct products per the customer order Handle returns by completing documentation and other required communication Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance and logs Cycle counting and identifying any inventory issues Communicating issues, including missing or damaged material, as well as material that may have been pulled or received incorrectly. Keep work areas neat and tidy Other duties as assigned
