The Opportunity:

Responsible for transporting raw materials, work in process and finished goods throughout the warehouse and load and unload transport trucks. Operate traditional fork life and extended reach forklifts in a distribution center. Unload finished goods from trailers and place in storage racks Load finished goods based on customer orders Use the warehouse management system for locating goods in the storage racks (for both putting away and pulling orders) What you need to succeed: Two years material handling experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment Read/write to accomplish completing forms and/or communicating simple instructions Ability to carry out task which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding standards for safety, quality, and productivity Forklift experience preferred on extended reach and stand-up forklifts for DC Accuracy of input (manual input) into warehouse management system Understanding of WIP, finished goods and roll inventory accuracy. Knowledge of shipping and receiving and proper loading procedures. Familiar with warehouse locations and labeling Some computer experience
