Job Description

Overview Join our Carolina Lumper Service team as a Warehouse Associate. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse tasks to ensure smooth flow of goods and timely order fulfillment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse logistics, and e-commerce operations while working in a collaborative environment that values your contributions. Duties Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting items, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using order pickers and packing stations to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Stock shelves and storage areas efficiently, maintaining organized inventory for easy access and tracking Use basic math skills to count stock, calculate weights, and verify quantities during order fulfillment Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine inspections of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and MRPs such as AS400 or similar systems Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking/packing procedures in an e-commerce setting Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes along with inventory control techniques Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely during order fulfillment tasks Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in warehouse distribution or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate We're dedicated to supporting your growth through comprehensive training in warehouse operations and safety standards.
