Job Description

A successful candidate is able to locate and obtain cones of various yarns from storage and properly stage them for use in the manufacturing process. Pulled yarns must then be transported in buggies to the appropriate weaving area where they will be used in the manufacturing process. Unused cones of yarn will need to be sorted and repacked according to the proper inventory location. The candidate must have good attention to detail while referring to the necessary matching of numbers, labels, and instructions. Candidates should be able to enter yarn identification and location data into the electronic inventory control system. Ability and experience to operate forklifts is a plus although not necessarily required in each material handler's position. Some positions may require the manual transporting of fabric rolls. 2nd
