Job Description

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role. Valid forklift certification. Valid Driver's License Ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical stamina and the ability to lift over 25 lbs. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to use measuring devices.
  • Understanding of ISO quality system policies and procedures
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comprehensive criminal background check
Training Requirements:
General Safety Quality System Awareness Physical Demands:
  • Some physical exertion required
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Walking, standing, sitting, bending and kneeling Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
  • Safety Glasses required on shop floor
  • Hearing protection required in designated areas
  • Steel toe shoes required on shop floor
Work Environment:
  • Work performed in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemical and other elements.
MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS
    Material Handling:
    Safely and efficiently handle materials, including loading and unloading, transporting, and storing items.
      Inventory Management:
      Maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Perform regular cycle counts and assist in conducting periodic inventory audits.
        Equipment Operation:
        Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
          Order Fulfillment:
          Pick and pack materials according to order specifications. Prepare materials for shipping and verify accuracy of orders.
            Quality Control:
            Inspect materials for damage or defects. Report any issues and ensure that only high-quality products are processed.
              Communication:
              Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials and information.
                Safety:
                Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols. Identify and report safety hazards. Participate in safety training programs.
