Job Description

Job Summary:
The Garage Door Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing and assembling garage door components in a fast-paced production environment. Duties may include building garage door panels, assembling axles and other hardware, operating production equipment, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to safely use tools and machinery, and a strong work ethic.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assemble garage doors and garage door components according to company specifications. Manufacture axles and other hardware used in garage door production. Operate production machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Measure, cut, drill, and assemble materials as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Report equipment issues or material defects to supervisors. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with other production and warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required. Ability to read a tape measure and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Perform repetitive motions using hands and arms. Bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the workday. Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
