We are looking for a qualified person to operate a powered miter saw (chop saw) and pick blinds from stock in our Raleigh warehouse. The position would be cutting blinds and preparing workloads for our installers.

Typical day would be:

-Arriving at our warehouse at 7:00 am. -Properly reading pick tickets and pulling correct product. (25%) -Safely and accurately using a powered miter saw to cut faux wood blinds. (50%) -Using a tape measure to cut to precise measurements. (Included in above 50%) -General warehouse clean up, stocking, unloading trucks. (15%) -Organizing and restocking shelves. (10%) -Other duties as required by management. Cutting blinds requires a good knowledge of power saw safety and the ability to do math on a fractional level. Blind are cut to the 1/4 of an inch so working with a tape measure and the ability to add and subtract fractions is a MUST. Drug testing required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record as using a company truck to make short deliveries and trash runs is required.

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
