Job Description

Material Handlers utilize both stand up lifts and traditional forklifts to move product throughout the plant and shipping/receiving department. Requirements Must be willing to work mandatory overtime, weekends and different shifts as needed. 2 or more years of experience on stand up lifts 2 or more years of experience on traditional forklifts 2nd Shift is currently from 2pm to 10pm. High school diploma or equivalent (required). Prior experience in warehouse, staging, or production support. Ability to read and follow work orders, staging lists, and inventory documentation. Forklift certification and experience Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills. Ability to lift - up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions (cold, hot, dry, or humid). Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Stage and deliver free stock materials (ingredients, packaging, and supplies) to designated production lines as required. Accurately verify materials against work orders, batch tickets, or staging lists to ensure correct quantities and types are provided. Maintain organization and cleanliness of free stock staging areas. Communicate with production operators, warehouse, and supervisors to anticipate material needs and prevent downtime. Record and track material movements in inventory or ERP systems. Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment. Follow all GMPs, food safety protocols, and workplace safety standards. Assist in periodic inventory counts and cycle counts as required. Support cross-functional warehouse or production tasks as directed.
