PLEASE READ
You MUST be able to Lift 100lbs and deliver furniture up steps into homes. Your job consist of unloading delivery trucks, unboxing & assembling furniture, and delivery to customers' homes. As a furniture delivery & warehouse specialist your responsibility is to assemble furniture according to manufacturer instructions and quality standards. You will work with a variety of furniture pieces, including but not limited to chairs, tables, sofas, and beds. Attention to detail and precision in assembly are crucial to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, as well as preparing items for shipment. Your role is crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner. As a delivery person your primary role is to safely transport furniture items from the warehouse or store to customers' homes or businesses. You will be responsible for loading and unloading furniture, navigating delivery routes, and providing exceptional customer service during the delivery process.Duties:
- Read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams
- Use hand and power tools to assemble furniture safely and accurately
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify and report any defects or missing parts
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase order
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Pick and pack items for outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations
- Load furniture items onto delivery truck or van, ensuring proper securement
- Drive delivery vehicle to designated locations following planned routes
- Unload furniture at customers' premises and assemble if required
- Inspect delivered items for any damage or defects and report issues as necessary
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate vehicles, including trucks & vans
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy furniture items
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Knowledge of industry-specific equipment and tools

- Experience with preventive maintenance procedures
