As a Rental Agent & Warehouse Associate , you will play an important role in keeping our Statesville branch clean, organized, safe, and ready for business. You'll interact directly with customers, handle U-Haul rentals, prepare and maintain Refrigerated Trailers, organize equipment and inventory, and assist with the day-to-day operation of the branch. This is a hands-on customer-facing position that combines rental counter/customer service, warehouse organization, equipment cleaning, and light maintenance. What You'll Do as the Rental Agent and Warehouse Associate Act as rental agent for U-Haul rentals using the U-Haul WebBEST system Perform light maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on U-Haul equipment Periodically transfer U-Haul equipment from other locations Ability to learn and use the U-Haul WebBEST rental system and Storage In Motion systems. Training will be provided. Maintain, clean and organize company vehicles (F150 equivalent trucks) and ensure they are clean, fueled, properly equipped, and ready for use. Back up, place, and park trailers inside and outside of warehouse branch. Hook up and unhook trailers, ensuring transport safety. Provide excellent, professional customer service with every customer. Complete rental paperwork with customers and maintain appropriate documentation in the office Perform light maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on trailers, trucks and warehouse facilities. Maintain organized truck and trailer inventory inside and outside the warehouse Keep accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, and equipment. Position:

Availability on afternoons and weekends (emergency deliveries or service calls) Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely maneuver and back trailers is strongly required. Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Dependable, trustworthy, and safety-focused Basic mechanical aptitude for hooking/unhooking trailers and maintaining trucks Comfortable working with computers/mobile devices Dependable transportation to/from work What Is Preferred for the

Position:

• U-Haul and/or rental industry experience
• Warehouse experience
• Light mechanical experience Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies.

Ability to safely climb in and out of trucks and trailers. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work around trailers and warehouse equipment for extended periods. Ability to safely connect and disconnect trailer couplers and safety equipment.
