WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / UNLOADER

$15/hr Openwork is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Unloader for a growing warehouse and distribution operation in Troy, NC. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading products, stocking materials, moving inventory throughout the facility, and supporting daily shipping and receiving operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload rugs, materials, and other products safely and efficiently
• Move inventory throughout the warehouse and storage areas
• Stock materials in designated locations
• Prepare products for shipment and assist with order fulfillment
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous warehouse, loading, unloading, or material handling experience preferred
• Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials on a regular basis
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to safely handle large, bulky products
