Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Elevator Worker to assist with the receiving, processing, and shipping of dry edible beans. During harvest, this role is responsible for unloading trucks and collecting product samples. During processing, the employee will help load finished product into railcars, bulk trucks, 2,000-lb totes, and 50-110 lb bags while ensuring quality standards are met. Daily housekeeping and maintaining a safe, clean work environment are essential parts of the role. Key Responsibilities Receive, process, and ship dry edible bean products. Unload trucks during harvest and collect required product samples. Load finished product into railcars, bulk trucks, totes, and bags. Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized facility. Operate safely while following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Communicate effectively with team members to support efficient production. Follow established production processes and quality standards. Report hazards, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, accidents, injuries, and near misses promptly. Participate in required safety and operational training. Maintain regular attendance and report to work fit for duty. Practice proper personal hygiene and safe work habits. Working Conditions Overtime and weekend work may be required, especially during harvest. Work from elevated platforms, stairs, ladders, and ramps. Exposure to hot and cold temperature extremes. Physical Requirements Frequently lift or move up to 10 lbs overhead. Occasionally lift up to 55 lbs. Stand for 3-4 hours during a standard 8-hour shift and up to 8-10 hours during extended shifts.
