Job Description

Job Title:
Material Handler - 2nd Shift ($21-$25/hour) Job Description This temporary role focuses on supporting the production of small electronic sensors used in military applications by managing materials, inventory, and product movement throughout the facility. You will work in a quiet, climate-controlled environment, ensuring components and finished goods are handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining production flow and quality standards. This position runs Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (2nd shift) . Responsibilities
  • Stage pallets and move materials throughout the facility using a forklift
  • Manage inventory in the parts cage, including stocking, pulling, and organizing materials
  • Kit parts and materials for production based on daily needs
  • Use the GlobalShop inventory system to track inventory levels and material movement
  • Stage finished product for outbound shipment the following morning
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area while supporting production efficiency
  • Work independently as the sole material handler on the 2nd shift crew Essential Skills Experience in material handling, warehouse, or forklift roles.
Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials throughout the shift. Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail when handling components and tracking inventory. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in a structured environment. Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or basic shipping/receiving processes. Experience working with small components or electronics is a plus. Ability to stay organized and maintain productivity in a quiet work setting. Work Environment Work is performed in a quiet, climate-controlled facility with air conditioning and heating, ensuring a comfortable environment year-round. This is a physically active role requiring standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. , offering consistent second-shift hours for a temporary project running through August . Listening to music is permitted, supporting a focused and calm work atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of La Vista, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
