Job Title:

Warehouse Associate Job Description The warehouse associate will operate an overhead crane to control the lifting, moving, and positioning of loads. They will ensure that loads are safely attached and within lifting limits, maintaining cleanliness and functionality of the crane. Crane operators will also track inventory in their designated areas. Additionally, they will load structural steel beams onto trucks based on order sheets. Responsibilities Operate overhead crane for lifting, moving, and positioning loads. Load structural steel beams onto trucks based on order sheets. Essential Skills Experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment, including forklifts or electric pallet jacks. Prior experience with overhead crane operation is highly desirable. Ability to handle material and perform order picking. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ months of operating a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, or high reach). 6+ months of experience operating any type of heavy equipment. 6+ months of general warehouse experience. Work Environment The work environment is a non-temperature controlled metal distribution center that maintains cleanliness. Temperatures inside reflect outside conditions due to truck traffic.

Shifts are as follows:

1st Shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd Shift from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The team consists of 2-3 people. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
