In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accurate inventory handling, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities Safely load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes. Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and assist with inventory management to ensure stock levels are correct. Organize materials within the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and recording transactions in the warehouse management system. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to move goods safely across the facility. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area to promote safety and operational efficiency. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, manual handling, and warehouse operations to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or materials handling roles. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane systems, and pallet jacks confidently and safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures. Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting techniques. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use. Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus for growth opportunities.
