Warehouse Worker Job Description This role involves working in a warehouse environment where you will price and move boxes, operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and use RF scanners to manage inventory. Responsibilities Price and label boxes accurately according to warehouse standards and project requirements. Move, stage, and organize boxes and products throughout the warehouse using manual handling and a hand pallet jack. Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely to move pallets and inventory. Use an RF scanner to pick, scan, track, and verify inventory and orders. Perform general labor tasks such as packing, sorting, stacking, and organizing products and materials. Assist with inventory control by counting, recording, and verifying stock as needed. Operate stand-up forklifts or other forklifts if qualified, following all safety procedures. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs consistently and safely throughout the shift. Follow all safety policies, including the use of steel or composite toe shoes and required PPE. Work assigned shifts, including first or second shift, and volunteer for overtime when needed to support team goals. Experience using an RF scanner for inventory, order selection, and material tracking. Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand jack safely. Reliability and strong attendance to meet production and scheduling needs. Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with physical demands.
