Job Description

Overview Carbon Felt, Inc., a growing company in the world of high temperature graphite furnace insulation and carbon/carbon composites, is looking for a Warehouse Associate at our company in Claremont, NH. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment. Duties Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Operate forklifts, powerlift, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials. Data entry our ERP system for tracking inventory movements. Execute order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Assist in packaging products for shipment while adhering to quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, shelves & racks and report any issues promptly. Help other teams as needed Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of inventory management practices. Must be proficient in using Microsoft software Must be able to drive forklift, powerlift etc. Knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices for stocking products efficiently. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks occasionally as required by the role. Excellent attention to detail to maintaining accuracy Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Understanding of packaging requirements for various products is beneficial.
