Material Handler - Food Manufacturing Derry, New Hampshire Wrap City Chips About Wrap City Chips At Wrap City Chips, we produce handcrafted kettle chips using simple ingredients, real potatoes, and a commitment to quality. Founded in New Hampshire in 2015, we've grown from a small back-room operation into a large-scale food manufacturing business while maintaining the craftsmanship and care that made us successful from the beginning. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Material Handler to support warehouse, production, and shipping operations in our food manufacturing facility. Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, and tracking raw materials and finished goods to ensure production runs efficiently. This role supports manufacturing by supplying production lines, managing inventory, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring warehouse organization and safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate works with urgency, stays organized, and takes pride in keeping operations moving safely and efficiently. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support Deliver raw materials, packaging, ingredients, and supplies to production lines and work centers in a timely manner Ensure production teams have the materials needed to keep operations running efficiently Support production flow by staging and moving materials as needed Inventory & Warehouse Management Perform inventory counts and stock movements accurately Maintain organized inventory locations and proper storage practices Track raw materials and finished goods using scanners, RF guns, or inventory systems Help maintain accurate inventory records and lot traceability Shipping, Receiving & Material Handling Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely move products and materials Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments Stage finished goods for shipment and warehouse storage Assist with order picking and packing to ensure correct products and quantities are prepared Documentation & Safety Complete shipping and receiving documentation, bills of lading, and inventory paperwork accurately Conduct pre-use inspections of forklifts and equipment Follow food safety, GMP, OSHA, and workplace safety requirements at all times Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production environment Qualifications Required Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or food production preferred Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry materials up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods Preferred 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or food production experience Forklift certification or prior forklift experience Experience with scanners, RF guns, or inventory systems
