Job Description
Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, be comfortable operating various vehicles, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques. Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures. Assist in warehouse operations, including warehouse maintenance and clean up as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during delivery. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Experience in warehouse operations is preferred, including familiarity with inventory management systems. Proficient in driving box trucks and vans; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification may be required. Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and adherence to safety protocols.
