Our client, a food distribution company, is looking for Warehouse Associates to join their team in Carlstadt, NJ. In this temp-to-permanent role, you will be responsible for selecting dry and frozen food orders using a double electric pallet jack in a fast-paced distribution environment with guaranteed overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Select dry and frozen food orders accurately using a double pallet jack (ride-along/jack runner) Handle both non-refrigerated and refrigerated grocery merchandise throughout the shift Work across warehouse zones including a 36-degree freezer environment and dry storage areas Team members will rotate between freezer and dry zones to ensure adequate breaks from cold exposure Maintain accuracy and efficiency in order selection to meet daily production goals Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:

Extensive electric pallet jack experience not required — training will be provided Must have reliable personal transportation Perfect attendance required during the two-week training period — no absences permitted Ability to work in cold freezer environments (36°F) for extended periods Reliable, hardworking, and able to keep up with a fast-paced production environment Comfortable working Sundays as part of the regular schedule

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Sunday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (until work is completed)
