Ringoes, NJ Job Summary Warehouse Team Members serve a critical role within Zone 7's operations; we are hands-on with every product we offer to our customers. This is a part-time position, with potential for full-time if combined with driving duties. Essential functions include unloading stacked pallets from trucks, performing quality control to Zone 7's high standards, organizing and properly storing each product within our two coolers and our series of freezers, maintaining a clean environment that complies with Zone 7's strict Food Safety Policy, finalizing end of day paperwork, palletizing customer orders with 100% accuracy, and communicating interdepartmentally with a positive and constructive attitude. The fine details of the position tend to change slightly with each season, but in general, Warehouse Team Members can expect to work from late morning until the late afternoon or early evening. Education and Experience High School diploma or a GED. Prior experience in a warehouse setting strongly preferred. Prior experience in the farming or food industry strongly preferred. Skills

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Familiarity with FSMA Produce Safety Rule Computer skills and a willingness to learn systems used by the Zone 7 Warehouse team including Microsoft Suite, Google Suite and cloud-based inventory software Team player with strong communication skills Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repetitively Ability to work safely with strong organizational and time management skills Possess a good work ethic and positive attitude Ability to operate Class I and III power trucks (training will be provided) Ability to speak and write in English. Primary Job Duties Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup: pick, load, pack, wrap and label Receive and process warehouse stock products Perform inventory controls and keep high quality standards Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies Print end of day paperwork: invoices, driver communication logs, purchase orders Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Perform regularly scheduled warehouse cleaning duties according to Zone 7's Food Safety Plan Note This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
