Job Description

Position Summary The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, cycle counting, and distribution of pharmaceutical products within a cGMP-regulated warehouse environment. This role serves as a critical link between inbound supply and outbound fulfillment, ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, and inventory accuracy at all times. The specialist supports continuous improvement initiatives and works cross-functionally with procurement, quality assurance, and transportation teams. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Accuracy Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts using WMS/SAP systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly Maintain lot-level traceability for all pharmaceutical SKUs in compliance with FDA, DEA, and company SOPs Monitor and report inventory aging, expiry dates, and first-expiry-first-out (FEFO) compliance Reconcile physical inventory counts against system records and escalate variances exceeding tolerance thresholds Manage

rotation for all product categories including temperature-sensitive and controlled substances Receiving & Put-Away Receive inbound shipments; inspect for damage, quantity accuracy, and documentation completeness (ASN, CoA, BOL) Verify NDC, lot number, quantity, and expiry against purchase orders before system receipt Scan and license-plate all inbound pallets/cases; assign putaway locations per slotting rules Quarantine non-conforming product and initiate QA deviation reports as required Process returns and damaged goods in accordance with reverse logistics SOPs Order Fulfillment & Outbound Support Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders accurately per packing list and customer-specific requirements Confirm open delivery quantities in SAP/WMS and update order status in real time Coordinate with 3PL dispatch to meet ship-date commitments and reduce aging open orders Apply correct shipping labels, packing slips, and regulatory documentation to each shipment Support the outbound KPI targets including on-time dispatch rate, order fill rate, and pick accuracy Regulatory Compliance & Quality Operate within cGMP, GDP, and DEA Schedule II-V handling requirements at all times Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections (FDA/DEA), and third-party audits as needed Maintain temperature excursion logs for cold chain and controlled room temperature (CRT) products Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner; maintain records per retention policy Report quality events, near-misses, and safety incidents per site EHS and quality protocols Warehouse Operations & Safety Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs): reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers — certification required Maintain a clean, organized, and 5S-compliant work area at all times Follow all OSHA and site safety regulations; wear required PPE Assist with facility housekeeping, equipment maintenance reporting, and supply replenishment Support cross-training initiatives and onboarding of new warehouse associates Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED equivalent; associate degree preferred Minimum 2 years of warehouse or distribution center experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS);

experience strongly preferred Experience performing cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and

rotation Valid powered industrial truck (PIT) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand/walk for extended periods Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (cGMP, GDP, DEA schedules) Preferred Experience with controlled substance handling, storage, and DEA recordkeeping Cold chain / temperature-controlled storage experience Lean/5S certification or Six Sigma Yellow Belt MSSC Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) or equivalent credential Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

$24.27 - $29.23 per hour
