Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse and Janitorial Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse environment, performing custodial duties, and supporting basic maintenance tasks. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming, efficient space for colleagues and visitors alike. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal throughout the warehouse and common areas Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces to ensure safety and appearance standards are met Support custodial operations by restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining cleanliness in break rooms and workspaces Assist with light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and inspecting facility conditions to identify potential issues early Support industrial cleaning projects by using specialized equipment for deep cleaning of large areas or equipment when needed Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly Support warehouse operations by organizing supplies and ensuring pathways are clear for safe movement of personnel and materials Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors Experience with industrial or large-scale cleaning environments preferred Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or troubleshooting common issues Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
