Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, from receiving and shipping to order fulfillment and inventory management. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe and organized environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment operation, and logistics processes. Responsibilities Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products efficiently throughout the warehouse. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory, process orders, and update stock levels in real-time. Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of products. Stock shelves and organize inventory using proper storage techniques aligned with warehouse distribution standards. Support order fulfillment by accurately selecting items based on pick lists and preparing packages for shipment following quality standards. Collaborate with team members to load and unload trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse environment by adhering to safety guidelines and conducting routine inspections. Skills Some experience working in a warehouse setting with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes. Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently Understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and inventory stocking techniques. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Ability to perform load & unload tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
