- $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Outlook Packing Basic math Forklift High school diploma or GED Warehouse experience Picking & packing Time & attendance systems Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description This position is responsible for receiving, unpacking, arranging and storing goods, and gathering, packing, preparing and loading goods for shipment; checking stock for damage and wear; reporting faults and discrepancies to relevant parties; marking and labeling stock.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
- Loads and unloads delivery vehicles.
- Accepts delivery of inventory.
- Counts and confirms inventory.
- Inspects inventory for damage and faults.
- Communicates errors to relevant parties.
- Marks and labels stock.
- Stores inventory in an accessible manner.
- Loads and wraps stock on pallets.
- Builds loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
- Retrieves inventory for order fulfillment
- Custom builds pallets and packaging for customer orders
- Loads customer orders on delivery vehicles
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, licenses and registrations required: o Forklift Certification preferred; not required.Computer skills required:
o Basic Outlook (e-mail) o Mobile ADP App for Time and Attendance and PTO requests o NetSuite Data Entry or Bar Code Scanning Other skills required : o Work experience as a general laborer, preferably in a warehouse. o Basic math and measurement skills. o Ability to operate a forklift proficiently. o Completion of background investigation and drug screening. o Strong people skills. o Good moral character. o Physically strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions. o Available to work extended hours.COMPETENCIES
