Farm Warehouse Assistant

Founded in 2012, Flocktown Farm is an organic fruit and vegetable farm located in Pittstown, New Jersey. In addition to delivering 250 varieties of organic produce grown on our farm, we also distribute over a thousand gourmet food items from local organic and sustainable producers including cheeses, vinegars, mushrooms, flour, and much more. Over the past decade, Flocktown has grown to become one of the largest Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms in the country, offering home delivery in NJ, PA, and NYC. We are a young, innovative, and rapidly growing team, dedicated to empowering motivated individuals to grow with us. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join the team. As a Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the farm and warehouse. Applicants can expect to work wherever needed in the warehouse

• washing and sorting produce, organizing coolers, cleaning and maintaining equipment, plus other farm related tasks.

Ability to speak Spanish is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items
• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Jump in with the wash and pack team when needed

Skills and Qualification:

• Prior forklift certification is not required but preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Solid math skills are necessary for counting inventory
• Good memory and strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient warehouse flow
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and be on your feet for long periods of time Details Work week is Monday-Friday 7AM
• 5PM, approximately 45 hours.
