Full Job Description Position Description:
Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and accurate movement, storage, receiving, and shipping of materials and products within the warehouse. This position performs loading/unloading, order picking, inventory transactions, and material handling activities while following company SOPs, cGMP requirements, and safety procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Pull and prepare inventory according to SYSPRO picklists and production/material requests. Perform bin transfers and inventory transactions to accurately deduct and transfer materials in the system. Receive, load, and unload trucks while verifying materials and quantities. Perform order picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, staging, and shipping activities. Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse material-handling equipment. Maintain required warehouse, equipment, and maintenance records. Clean and prepare drums and other containers for transfer between warehouse locations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups. Follow applicable SOPs, cGMP requirements, OSHA/safety procedures, and company policies. Assist with inventory counts and help investigate inventory discrepancies when required. Support other company warehouse locations and departments as needed. Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, or equipment issues to management. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2-4 years of warehouse/material handling experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industry. Forklift operating experience required; forklift certification preferred. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory/ERP systems; SYSPRO experience preferred. Good basic math, writing, and communication skills. Ability to follow written SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform material-handling activities throughout the shift. Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the position. Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
