Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker and be a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through efficient stocking, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us maintain high standards of accuracy and safety while supporting our e-commerce and warehouse distribution goals. Responsibilities Reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently. Manage warehouse inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track stock levels and order status accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring timely delivery for e-commerce customers. Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access. Use order pickers and other equipment to fulfill customer orders quickly while maintaining safety standards. Assist with packaging products securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit. Support warehouse distribution operations by loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols throughout the warehouse environment. Requirements Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting is preferred. Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks, pallet jacks, MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems), or AS400 is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking/packing procedures. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to shipping/receiving tasks. Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items regularly, and operate warehouse equipment safely for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
