NJ Salary:
$20.00 - $20.00 per Hour Lumper / Container Unloader Kearny, NJ | Per Diem / As-Needed Opportunity Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Lumpers (Warehouse Unloaders) to support container unloading operations in Kearny, NJ. This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced logistics environment and a great opportunity for individuals looking for extra income or side work. This position works on a per diem / as-needed basis depending on container schedules and operational needs. Work availability may vary and is not a guaranteed daily schedule. Key Responsibilities- Unload freight and products from containers, trailers, and trucks
- Manually move, sort, stack, and palletize products efficiently
- Shrink-wrap and label pallets for shipment
- Support warehouse and loading/unloading operations as needed
- May use pallet jacks or basic warehouse tools when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet unloading and productivity goals Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or lumper experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to consistently lift 50-75 lbs
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices
- Flexible availability based on container schedules preferred
