Warehouse Material Handler

Position Summary Richard E. Pierson Construction Co. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Material Handler to support our heavy highway and construction operations by organizing, maintaining, and distributing construction hardware and materials across several warehouse facilities. This position plays a key role in keeping field crews and shop operations supplied with the hardware needed to support paving, utility, sitework, bridge, and roadway construction projects throughout the region Responsibilities Organize, sort, label, and maintain construction hardware including nuts, bolts, washers, anchors, fittings, fasteners, and related materials Maintain accurate inventory and organized storage areas across multiple warehouse locations Receive and verify incoming shipments and restock inventory as needed Assist with inventory counts and tracking of hardware and consumable materials Transport hardware and materials between warehouses/shops when necessary Keep warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, safe, and organized Support daily operations for heavy equipment, truck fleet, and construction crews Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards Qualifications Previous warehouse, construction yard, or material handling experience preferred Experience working in construction, heavy highway, paving, utility, or industrial environments is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to identify and organize various construction hardware and fasteners Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet throughout the day Valid driver's license Forklift experience preferred but not required Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and team-first attitude Someone who takes pride in keeping materials organized and operations running efficiently Dependable individual who can support both warehouse and field operations Benefits Competitive pay ($25/hour) Fantastic medical plan, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for long-term growth within the company
